Langdene clients triumph at early-2013 ewe competitions

Friday, March 15, 2013

Three Langdene clients have had a terrific start to 2013, winning their local ewe competitions. This is the ultimate test of our genetics, so we're rapt to see our clients achieving these outstanding results in a commercial setting.

There were 20 flocks in the Crookwell ewe comp and the eventual winners were our clients, Ken and Freya Wolf, "Hollow Mount", Bigga. Pictured, above right, is manager, David Zouch.

The Wolf family has been on Langdene genetics since 2008. Follow the link to read a full story in The Land newspaper.

Pictured right, in the Parkes ewe comp, is Geoff and son Phillip Cole of "Pindari", Mandagery. The Coles have been using Langdene genetics since 2007, and their flock was selected about seven other participants to take out this year's competition - after coming runner-up in 2012.

There were 16 flocks in the Tablelands ewe comp and victor for the second year in a row was Mick Inder, "Mayfield", Dunedoo. Mick is pictured, below, with his son, Kurt. This flock has featured Langdene genetics for 29 years, and came runner-up in this ewe competition in 2011.

Well done to all three clients!!!
